What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a highly skilled, independent professional who provides administrative, technical and/or creative business support services to businesses both small and large as well as entrepreneurs and sole traders. Because VAs are contractors working remotely, rather than employees, their clients save on the cost of providing office space and equipment, and are not responsible for paying employee-related taxes, insurance or benefits. Clients pay only for the VA’s time, which is 100% productive, and can hire them on an hourly basis for ad hoc projects or on a retainer basis for on-going support.

VAs own their own businesses, so not only do they bring their skills as a professional administrator, they understand how a business works and the pressures of being a business owner. They are flexible, focused and organized and will be a partner for your success.

What can a VA do for me?

For larger companies we can support your admin team by providing holiday or sickness cover, or at particularly busy times, enabling your business to continue running smoothly. There are no agency fees to consider and no training or supervision time demands.

What hours do you work?

Our normal office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. However, we pride ourselves on offering our clients a flexible service and this also applies to our working hours, which can be extended by agreement.

How do we share files?

Today’s technology offers numerous ways to share files, calendars, databases and e-mail accounts online easily, whether working from a PC, a laptop or even a tablet and we will discuss with you the best options for your business, taking into account speed, accessibility and confidentiality issues.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?

We are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement. For further peace of mind we are registered for data protection with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

How often do you invoice me?

We invoice at the beginning of every month or at the successful completion of a one-off task.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are 14 days from the date of issue. Please note that a deposit may be required for new clients.

What are my payment options?

Payment is requested by either bank transfer or cheque.
